Walter was a very nice man that will be greatly missed. My sympathy and condelences to Betty and the family.
By Donna MacNeil-Eley

Dear Betty, Suzanne, Shari-Lynne and family, we are so sad to learn that Walter has passed away. Wally, as I will always think of him, was a larger than life personality with a huge heart and great sense of humour. I was honoured to be the flower girl when he married the love of his life, Betty. There's a special place in heaven for special people. I'm sure he is hugging friends and family who went before him, and that he will lovingly look after you all from on high. Our sympathies, Sharon and Richard Hewitt, Ottawa

Dear Betty, Suzannne ,Shari-Lynne and families. I have this childhood image of "Wally " , this big bear of a man, who was so gentle and kind. Sandra, Sharon and I have such great memories of Wasaga and whether it was time at Aunt Maddy and Uncle Paul's or at Grandma's and Buppas place when Wally was there he made you feel special! I do believe that if you look up the definition for "kind face" Walter Galley's " picture should be there. Betty, being married a lifetime to your dear heart , is a testament to friendship, humility, kindness and strength. What a wonderful example you both gave. I am truly sorry that I am not able to be there today, please know that Sandra, Sharon and I will make a trip to see you as soon as possible. Love Patti (and Ron) Beltrame
