HANNA, Terry Gray – Passed away suddenly at home on Friday, September 22nd, 2017, at the age of 68. Terry was the cherished father of Sean, Adrian and Harrison. Very proud grandpa to Maclay. Beloved son of the late Harold and Erma. Terry loved spending time with his siblings Brian, Jill, Gary, Reta, Jed, Jan, Joy, Marie, Shelley and Joel. Terry loved a good tune, a good hike, riding his Harley, always up for a good laugh, but most of all he loved being surrounded by his family and friends. He will forever be in our hearts. Friends may call at the INNISFIL FUNERAL HOME, 7910 Yonge Street (Stroud) on Friday, September 29th, 2017 from 12-1p.m. with a memorial service at 1:00p.m. and a reception to follow. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Friends of Bon Echo Park - https://www.canadahelps.org/dn/7408. We are all still in shock to hear this sad news. Terry was just at our house two weeks ago for his monthly visit and we were making plans for him to come to see some Sunday hockey games. We will miss his charm and wit so much; he was always such a character. Rest in peace dear friend. Our deepest sympathy to his family, especially his children and grandchild all of which he was so proud of.

My heart is so heavy today. We were all so very close as youngsters and young adults. We haven't been that physically close these recent years, but always in each others thoughts. I have so many memories of Terry and the fun we shared through our many family get togethers. My deep condolences to Sean, Adrian and Harrison, as well as Adrian's sweet son Maclay who will miss the joy of Grandpa growing up with him. Rest in Paradise Terry. Love you and will see you again one day. Love Cousin Arlene

We are so shocked and saddened to learn of Terrys passing. I know it felt so empty when he moved from Weston. Always the first one to say hi. Our condolences to all of Terrys family.

Shellie, Tausha and I are very saddened to hear of Terry's sudden passing. I've known Terry for a long time and will miss him and many things about him. In the early years I would see Terry at family holiday dinners for which he was always an enthusiastic participant. He clearly cherished those times with his parents, brothers and sisters and his own children there as well. Tausha and I were reminiscing after hearing about his passing that he seemed to have this skill at judging the perfect time to get first in line for the feast and would always have fun with that process when other family members gave him a playful hard time about it. Tausha remembered how he would do magic tricks for the kids who seemed to at least temporarily end up magically missing a quarter or two in the process. And how Terry got me of all people (we still can't figure why) to play Santa Claus on the phone for Harrison who was getting older and starting to question the whole Santa thing. Terry seemed to really put a lot of time and effort and clearly a lot of love into his children Sean, Adrian and Harrison. He loved them all dearly and always said good things and was very proud of them. More recently since his retirement he had Shellie and I over for a few great barbeques and Terry had me over half a dozen times or so to help him with fix up projects around his home. He took a lot of pride in his home making it nice for him and Harrison. His next project was going to be a waterfall in his backyard by the deck. He loved where he lived, his backyard, the wetlands in behind, his bird house, the park and lake down the road and the whole area. If I remember right, he initially moved there mostly because he thought it was a great place and way to raise Harrison who could now be out of the city in a low crime area and close to both mom and dad all the time. I am glad for him that he was successful in business, but more so in his family and friend relationships (he had many) and in life in general and I am happy that he got to spend, what tragically ended up being his final years, living the good life, happy, content and looking forward to each day and more time with his family and friends. All his neighbors knew and liked Terry, he was very personable and friendly and he will be missed by many people and of course especially his children, brothers and sisters. I hope they will always feel Terry with them. This may be toughest of all for Harrison. I know Harrison will continue to make his dad proud and will use his never dying connection with his dad to help him stay on a good track through his teenage years and into adulthood. Harrison please know your mom, brothers and family (and Shellie, Tausha and I) are here for you. Lean on us when your not strong. Cheers to you Terry, we'll miss you and will think of you often. Marc

The passing of my happy-go-lucky and witty cousin was such a shock to me. I used to stare at him so much because he looked a lot like my Dad, his uncle Orval. I'm gonna miss that guy!! Sean, Adrian, Harrison, Maclay - please accept my deepest condolences! To all my cousins who have lost their second brother, my heart goes out to you. To all of Terry's friends and family, thank you for being a ray of light in Terry's life. Journey well cousin Terry!
