Dear Irene, Debbie, Eric and all the family. We had a great telephone visit with Ralph a few weeks ago. Our hearts go out to you and your family in your time of sorrow. Our condolences on the passing of your father. GONE FROM SIGHT BY HENRY VAN DYKE Gone From My Sight I am standing upon the seashore. A ship, at my side, spreads her white sails to the moving breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength. I stand and watch her until, at length, she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other. Then, someone at my side says, 'There, she is gone' Gone where? Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast, hull and spar as she was when she left my side. And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port. Her diminished size is in me - not in her. And, just at the moment when someone says, 'There, she is gone,' there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout, 'Here she comes!' And that is dying...

Dear Irene, Debbie and Eric We were saddened to hear the news of Ralph's sudden passing and share in your grief. It was only three weeks ago that Ralph called and we shared memories of days gone by. Dear Irene, Debbie & Eric; My sincere condolences to each of you. Ralph was a very special person. I will remember his smile forever. It was the grin of an impish child that lit up the entire room.

Dear Eric, My deepest condolences on your Dad's sudden passing. What a consolation it is that you were with him. My mother died suddenly in Hong Kong when she was 73. It was a great shock, and then I had to somehow pull myself together with very little sleep to get on the plane as soon as possible. May you feel very comforted by the wonderful memories you shared for such a long time. With a hug, Willo

So sorry to hear of Ralph's passing. I did not know until recently therefore missed his visitation. He was a wonderful, cheerful, positive man who always made others happy just by being with him. Always a story to share or a joke to make you laugh. I admired his zest for life and his optimistic attitude - a warm caring soul who will truly be missed. My condolences to all his family. So many great memories to hold onto.
