Dear John and Lisa My very deepest condolences on your very tragic and sudden loss. My memories of our times together during the hockey years are wonderful. John was always so great to all the boys. Mike was always very fond of him! I remember John as a caring and soft hearted soul. I can only dream that Mike and John have met up and are reminiscing about the good old days. God Bless you both as this journey of grief begins. My heart is with you both. Hugs Maria

Dearest Lisa and Johnny Almost 29 years ago my family moved to Webb Street in Stroud and found ourselves living across from a wonderful couple who were expecting a baby. Our friendship grew as John Jr. was born and so became the beginning of coffee's, bonfires, parties, landscaping, and most importantly a beautiful friendship. Even though you had left the street your presence remains here and John's impact on our neighborhood will never be forgotten. Our deepest condolences, With all our love, Jeanette, James, Meaghan and Michael

I've known John for over 31 years and Gary has known him for the better (best) part of 35 years. I heard many stories of Gary's time with John and his family at the cottage and out hunting and fishing....some would make you laugh so hard you'd cry. We enjoyed many a great time at the Adelman family cottage on Lake Simcoe with John, Lisa and "little Johnny". Too many awesome memories to forget. We had the honour of John being at Gary's 60th birthday party, just a few months ago, in June. It had been almost a year since we'd seen him last, but we talked into the wee hours of the morning, like no time had passed at all. You will be greatly missed and there is a huge vacancy in the place you filled in our hearts. To Lisa and John, it is with a heavy heart we give our condolences.

We were shocked and saddened to learn of Big John's passing. Such a profound loss that rippled through the world around him. So many lives that he touched, he is absolutely irreplaceable! Our deepest sympathies to his son and wife, and to his many friends grieving. Big John was an amazing man. It's hard to think of a world without him.
