Ted, please accept my condolences on the loss of Lillian. I have many special memories of you, both of the young officer you helped shepherd along and being one of your fellow officers in 709. As already having been through this experience, the best advice I received was to keep focusing on the many memories of the life you shared together; it has helped me. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Murph

It is with a heaviness in my heart that I have to say goodbye to this wonderful lady, Lillian Gemmell (my Godmother and my mothers and fathers lifetime friend) She was filled with SO much laughter and love, she gave off such a positive energy that was so infectious. She truly cared for people that came into her life and there were many of them. She loved her social groups from line dancing, to clogging group, quilting group, a card group and singing groups and so many more . Even when her health was failing, she still was as active as ever, nothing held this woman down, she was a mountain of strengthen and the words “take it easy” were not in her vocabulary. She enjoyed each day to the fullest and cherished every one them. We will all miss her! Love you Aunt Lil. xoxo

Ted and Family, Ron and I were saddened to learn of Lillian. As well as being a geat sister to Ron she was also a great pal. We know that Lil will be greatly missed for her wonderful personality and the way she was always concerned about others. And We though we did not get to see each other very ofter, we always spoke on the phone on birthdays and at Christmas, and we cherished these calls. We will miss her very much, but we know that she is probably up in heaven arranging something. God Bless you Lillian. Ted our thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family.
