To all of you Moms are important and very special people, and in saying that I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I have a lot of great memories of Jim and Jean and my parents. There were the Friday night Euchre games, Thanksgiving day at the Erin Fair, picnics at the Forks of the Credit, visiting the cottage and swimming then going for ice cream at Dot's. She was a most wonderful woman in her personality and actions. I remember your mom stopping by Durie Street to have a cup of tea with my mom and catching up, and they would laugh and talk for hours. The Gibson Girls are one of the many lives that your mom touched during her life

Lawrie our sincere condolence on the loss of your mom our thoughts and prayers are with you Jocelyne and your family. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.

Dearest Lawrie, Jocelyne, Denise and Julie, Your mom and nana was such a very special and gentle lady. She and Jimmy made everyone feel welcome and at home with their generosity and warmth. It is hard to believe that she won't be feeding the birds anymore; taking delight and interest in everyone. She was the epitome of what the English would call "a tender woman". She will be greatly missed but we are all so fortunate that she was here. Condolences to us all.

Lawrie, we were good friends when we were both very young. Our Mothers were lifelong friends and she informed me of Jean passing last night. I wish to express my condolence to you and your family.
