Passed away peacefully in her 97th year. We will miss her playful nature and always remember her as "Baba" who loved to cook, laugh and love.We all knew that Baba's food tasted better because it was made with love. She was a courageous woman who left her home in Poland as a teenager and worked as a forced labourer in Germany during the war. Following a stay in a Displaced Persons Camp in Germany after the war, Olga immigrated to Canada as an independent young woman where she met and married her husband of 58 years Michael Zoladek (predeceased). Olga is also predeceased by her brothers John, Walter, Peter and Dmytro, and sister Anna. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Walter (Judy), daughters Lucia (Stephen) and Diane (Gary), grandchildren Joseph (Katie), Brendan (Rebecca), Kimberly, Devon and Alexa, and great-grandchildren Jack, Amelia, Lincoln and Lennox. Visitation will be held at the Innisfil Funeral Home, 7910 Yonge St., Innisfil on Wednesday December 19, 2018 from 2 -4 & 7-9 PM. Panahyda will be held in the parlour Wednesday evening at 7:30PM. Funeral Service will be held at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre, 1280 Dundas St W, Oakville on Thursday December 20, 2018 at 11 AM. Interment at St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery followed by reception. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Hello Lucia - I was so sorry to read about your mom passing. I remember when both our moms were in the hospital this past summer and we had some good conversation. Your mom was fortunate to be supported by such a loving family and I am sure you have wonderful memories of her raising and taking care of you. Funny how life comes full circle in the end. I will light a candle at church for your mom this weekend and you and your family will be in my prayers. Hopefully you will be able to take comfort in your memories of her this Christmas. Take care of yourself during this time and in the coming weeks and months. God Bless.

Let Me Go When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me I want no rites in a gloom filled room Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not for long And not with your head bowed low Remember the love that once we shared Miss me, but let me go. For this is a journey we all must take And each must go alone. It's all part of the master plan A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick at heart Go to the friends we know. Laugh at all the things we used to do Miss me, but let me go.
